Since I was little I've always been attracted mostly to females, but sometimes a boy (back then) or a man (these days) does it for me. In 5th grade I played a princess in a school play, and one boy told me he'd like to go out with me. Oh, the butterflies! That's when I had started really becoming sexually conscious, around that time. Soon I noticed that I would get excited when I was around certain people; some boys, some girls. Before long I was getting crushes on boys and girls I knew, and having very strong erotic desires for them. It's the same now. I prefer women, but now and then I find myself having a very strong attraction for a guy.

good question...I knew I was in for it when I was working with this girl at a nursing home. As long as she was there, no matter how bad of a day we were having, I was blissfully happy. I then realized I would get jealous if she talked to another mutual friend of ours. And so I realized that I felt about her the way I thought I supposed to feel about a guy!

Now it's happening again with 2 co-workers I like...I get all goofy when I try to be around them while trying to hide the fact that I like them.

I fell head over heels for a junior at my high school back in the day when I was a freshman, and I was thoroughly depressed when, a year later, she left school one week early (seniors got to get out of school a week earlier than everyone else back then), and her last day also happened to fall on my birthday. I was a mess that day, even though I got my license right after school, I would've given anything to be back at school with her. It hurt like hell, and I've never seen her since.

I fell for her when I was 14 (she was 16), and I admitted to myself that I was gay a week before I turned 16 (she was 18). After that, I thought back on my life to see if I had ever had crushes on girls that I just covered up using the Freudian method of repression, and I realized that I had.

I was honest with myself at the age of 13, but when i think back on it, I can recall being 11 or so & thinking, "If I was a boy, I'd want to go out with her". But it helped when I met some people that I could really talk to about it, & I've happily been a lesbian since. Good luck to you!

By having a wet dream at age 13. It was about the middle school weightlifting champion. But I didn't realize until later that this was an attraction; couldn't admit it to myself then, i suppose.

I remember my first crush on a girl. She went to day camp with me. She was so different because she had bright firery red hair. (She's black, so red hair was more than a little unusual, and it was natural) I thought she was gorgeous. Anyway, I was about 14, and that was the first time I admitted to myself that I liked girls.

I knew when I was about four. I knew that I liked mashed potatoes and Disneyland and God and popcorn and males, and that I didn't like spinach and oysters and brussel sprouts and females.
