I think it was Dan Marino. Sorry guys that said Ben Roethlisberger, but that other guy was right. Ben came in the second game (at Baltimore) for an injured Tommy Maddox and sat out the last game (at Buffalo) to rest up for the playoffs, and he had a small injury from the previous game.
I don't think Kyle Orton is right either, even if he did start all the games in the regular season (which I think he did not), they benched him and he didn't even play in the playoff game against Carolina, Rex Grossman did.
Cheers!

OK people Big Ben DID NOT START ALL 16 GAMES. He went in after the second half of the second game, against Baltimore. It wasn't even a case of he was supposed to start or something. He started 13 games. Remember he was benched, along with most of the starters, for the last game. Although I would count that with starting all 16 games since the playoff spot was secure. Peyton Manning DIDN'T even sniff the playoffs his rookie year.

If there is one, it would have been Joe Montana with the 49ers in '79, but I don't think there is one...a rookie that has done that...Possibly John Elway (athough he was on the Bucs as a rookie) or Terry Bradshaw with the Steelers...Tom Brady didn't start as a rookie, and Drew Bledsoe did, but the Pats didn't make the playoffs...Peyton Manning didn't make the playoffs in his rookie year, Manning lovers...

Kyle Orton, Chicago Bears 2005, due to a preseason injury to Rex Grossman and his backup the Bears were forced to start 4th rd draft pick Orton who was basically a game manager, nonetheless he led the Bears to an 11-5 record en route to a 1st rd playoff loss to the Carolina Panthers.
P.S. Peyton Manning was 1-15 his first season in Indy!
