You have to enable file and printer sharing on the machines. IF you have not enabled security for your router, I would do this first, otherwise your neighbors could see your shared files. Then you should be able to go into the network and see the other machines.

Right click the folders you want to share, then click sharing. Also make sure you allow file and printer sharing through the firewall on each. You may need to add other users, to give them logons to just the files you want to show. DO NOT share the C: dirve totalyy, this will give access to your system files. One acidental remove, delete or overwrite in there and you may end up with a dead computer! Also deleting over the network by-passes the recycle bin. Once the file is gone it's gone for good.

Each PC / laptop has an IP address assigned by your router... typically 192.168.100..

Make a share on one of them in Windows explorer... share for instance the C disk... and then on either of the others mount the share in windows explorer... use 'tools -> map network drive'

You need to change all the computers so they have the same workgroup, you can do this by going to the Control Panel, then 'System' then click on the 'Computer Name' tab, then click on the 'Change' button, remember the workgroup names have to be exactly the same, capitals etc... You should then be able to click on 'My Network Places' on the 'Start' menu, and on the left hand panel click 'View Workgroup Computers' :)
