why did god create sex?

why did god create sex and only adults do it , if he create it for the world why can't younger children do it?

I wasn't going to answer this question but after reading some of these answers I couldn't believe what I was reading...Actually I don't believe that God gave sex a second thought. It was actually a punishment to Eve for eating the "forbidden fruit". Which was..a monthly curse! And if you think about it maybe God was tired of createing for awhile so He figured that this curse He had placed on Eve would also be to create a "new birth" between man and woman. He did the same when He created His creatures so why not mankind. Now if one believes in the scientific way of creation which would be evolution then you have to think that "life finds away" in all species of life.Now to your second question..why not children? If you think about it, children are innocent. God didn't punish Eve when she was a child. Children have no sin because they don't know what sin is as yet. Adults do. So in God's way of thinking, only an adult can have sex, and morally, one shouldn't have sex until they are married according to Gods law. Make any sense?Hmmm? have a great day!

ONly God could create and it was a special priviledge.
It binds two people together in a loveing relationship.
To have casual sex is to misuse a very special gift.
We have two sons and they have some of my looks and habits and they have some of his. It makes it so special to see our grown sons and know we are a part of them.
We enjoyed raiseing them and seeing them develope.
But what about an unwed mother who uses sex as entertainment. It is a very different story. She has to work and leave him and he isn't fun but a burden on her.
The boy to him it is just wow I am a father and a few pictures and he goes off to something else. But for the girl it is a life long committment.
Unless the man is mature and so is the women and realize what it takes to raise a child. With two people it isn't a burden but a great gift. when you get old like I am you realize that. don't be to anxious to give up your child hood to adult things. Trust me you have plenty of time for that.

Technically it is not illegal for younger people to have sex as long as it is with each other. It is wrong however for older people to have sex with younger people. It is all about taking advantage of someone who is not as emotionally developed as the other person. So in other terms, 12 yr olds can have sex with other 12 yr olds, but if your an adult having sex with a 12 yr old then you should be shot.

i understand why you would ask that, and the real reason is because it is for procreation, contrary to what you've heard I'm not sure how old you are but the only reason why people are supposed to have that type of intimacy is because it's so they can have children, having intimacy is not about pleasure it's to create the next generation so don't get confused about all the hype.

god created sex so that we can have offspring, nothing is forceing children from haveing sex you can if you want, god did not make it a law that they cannot.

And young kids are not emotionally or financially able to care for a child that would result from Sex.
