The two actually hold hands.

Sounds like my former marriage: I feared him but I wasn't allowed to show it.

I don't want to live in that place again. Thank goodness we live in a country where we can freely express ourselves. As in all relationships, fear is an unhealthy option. If you don't LIKE your government do something to improve it because "fear" has no place in a Democracy.

I can see that the "sky is falling crowd" have already answered.

We should actually be afraid of both and we are living with a government that currently encourages both fear of it and the fear to demonstrate that fear.

Of course our President is afraid to throw out a pitch at a ball game or otherwise interact with the people of his country who aren't part of a structured military audience or paying $1500.00 a plate to hear him try to speak English.

10 Years from now we will look back on these years with embarrassment and shame.

Definitely the latter. Americans should never completely trust their government, or be to the point where they should feel that they can't express their discontent, and I don't care which party is in power.

Gee how would they "not allow you to fear"? If you can figure that out let's sell it. I'll set up the website, "fearnot.com"

Those that would like to see our country fall into a 3rd world status. Those that would surrender at the thought of a fight. Those that think their laws will make my life better.
