why don't we execute everyone who doesn't agree with the president in this war to "protect our freedom"

Your definition of "treason": anyone who says anything that seriously pisses you off.

Consider the following excerpt, for which I've provided the URL below:
At times, the term "traitor" has been levelled as a political epithet, regardless of any verifiable treasonous action. In a civil war or insurrection, the winners may deem the losers to be traitors. Likewise the term "traitor" is used in heated political discussion – typically as a slur against political dissidents, or against officials in power who are perceived as failing to act in the best interest of their constituents. In certain cases, as with the German Dolchstoßlegende, the accusation of treason towards a large group of people can be a unifying political message.

It's the first amendment. FREE SPEECH. You may not like what they say, but don't undermine our greatest asset so you can be satisfied with some of the people in this countries rhetoric.

Where did you hear of Stern being accused of Illegal interference?

Oh, everybody who says or does something you don't agree with should be shot. You need to move to China. Get a grip.
We don't execute for free speech because that is one of the things that is still right with this country.

you are what is wrong with us as a country.
neither Pelosi nor Sheen are traitors for exercising "free speech".

YOU CAN'T EXECUTE PEOPLE FOR FREE SPEECH EVEN WHEN IT IS WRONG. FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION. AS FAR AS HOWARD STERN GOES HE IS TRYING TO PROVE HOW USELESS AMERICAN IDOL IS. MOST OF THE SO-CALLED WINNERS ARE TERRIBLE.
I REMEMBER ONCE ON THE SHOW HE HAD THE THREE JUDGES LISTEN TO THREE PEOPLE OFF THE STREET PERFORM & SIMON COWELL SAID NONE OF THEM HAD ANY TALENT. ONE WAS THE LEAD SINGER FOR SALIVA & WON A GRAMMY FOR THE MAIN SONG FROM THE SPIDERMAN SOUNDTACK SO IT SHOWS THAT THESE CLOWNS DON'T KNOW MUSIC.

You are right to point out the hypocricy of our country & our rediculous priorities,

BUT

To say these people need to be executed is very unAmerican!

(But I don't think Pelosi should be re-elected or Rosie should have a show to use to voice her liberal rants)

OUTSTANDING QUESTION - my favorite of the day!
We as a nation seem to value Entertainment more than we value a common sense Government.
You can mess with the United States of America but everyone would be all over the terrorists if they messed with American Idol as Howard is doing.
ROSIE IS A TRAITOR and should be fired for treason to this country.
HOWARD is a Shock Jock in the Entertainment industry just doing his JOB!

There is a difference between speech that violates a private enterprise's rights and political speech.

Treason is working for the enemy, like the American Taliban whack job did, not speaking out against your government. All of us have the right to speak out against our government, and I do so no matter who's in charge.

Oh but dumbed down America seems to think American Idol is next to worship in a church.

It is funny how those who advocate free speech seem to think those who disagree with them are traitiors but those agreeing aren't. Doesn't free speech apply to all or only those who agree with us? By the Constitution, you know the document Dubya says is just a god damn piece of paper, free speech applies to all and not just those who agree with some narrow view point.
