Take a crayon. Put dots all over the egg. Then dip in the color. Anyone can draw a cross. Do one with 3 crosses and the center one is larger. You can dip half of the egg in one color and the other half in a different color. You can get these kits that you swirl the egg in a plastic bag and it come out all different colors. I like to use the wax and stylist for the Ukrainian type eggs but not with that dye, but with safe eatable dye. And I draw some fancy designs on them. It take a very long time and you eyes go wacky, but they are nice. You can draw any type of geometric design without being artistic. If you have young kids and they are going to do it, get a kit that has the stamps with them. They come in daisy and other designs. Really cool. You just put the stamp in the color and stamp the egg. Start with an egg that you have put in yellow or a light color. I love doing eggs!!

Color an egg any color, then draw designs or even just polka-dots on it with a white crayon. Then put it in another color of dye. It works really good and is beautiful.
