Have the Right wing Christian Republican war loving bible thumping compassionate conservative radicals, from the media to the pundits to the politicians decieved Americans and used 911 as a fear and scare tactic to destroy our freedoms and use it as a means to control power? and ultimately have they destroyed America? Our moral standing in the world has never been lower than after the illegal invasion and desth and destruction of a soverign nation of Iraq with 650,000 dead Iraqi men, women and children.

Yes - they are no better than fanatics of any religion, cynically using fear of anyone outside their narrow definition of "morality" garner money and power. And as we have recently witnessed, there's a lot of hypocisy in their preaching of family values and for that matter, the anti-terrorism preaching.

The problem is, this brand of conservative radicals don't recognize that all people are members of the human race entitled to dignity and respect.

Nope.. they BUILT America. Remember, the U.S. is not a Democracy, it's a Republic! As in the Pledge of Allegiance "...and to the Republic, for which it stands..."

But they're now off track too, and one of the only hope is getting back to the basics which made out country once great.
