My guess is 'what is important to you?'

I was one time on a trip to New Zealand and entered a region that was celebrating 'Wellington Anniversary Day' actually in Palmerston North.

We asked these ladies who were playing bowls at around 09.30am ' is anywhere open?'
'No, Of course not.' was the reply. We did find a cafe trailer that did breakfast just outside of town on what was a Public Holiday. We were satiated.
Funnily enough, the French still do it. Without dissolution.
Suppose, just suppose, that on Easter Monday you could not buy milk or bread or such like. Would you really be inconvenienced?
Not really.
We have access to far too much. For too often. In the so-called 'advanced societies'

Sorry, Hun, nothing is closed for Easter. It is still considered a religious holiday not a secular holiday like say, The 4th of July or Labor Day. Just so you know, the only reason you get off for Christmas is that so many people would still take it off, no real business could be accomplished.

Most big shops and shopping centres will probably be open, but it's best to ring up and check first.

NO! The day after Easter is not a holiday for banks or most other businesses; at least in the U.S.
