rabits and eggs represent fertility and in the spring time there were always pagan fertilitiy celebrations. when christianity was adopted many pagan rituals were integrated into christian celebrations.

It would not make sense to have easter eggs on july 4th

The rabbit was originally a Pagan god....... The EGG symbolized fertility.
The early day Catholics, to include their Pagan pals into their customs, included the Pagan's rituals......................And so be Easter

long long ago,people did not want to give up their pagan rituals,so the church allowed them to be mixed in...and they
stayed..[the pagan stuff]
on the other hand; eggs stand for new life and as a christian you will have a new life..everything is better when one tries not to sin,but we sin daily thats why we go to the laver[Bible] daily and pray and repent if we know what we sinned..
