Visa Note
1. Validity
Visitor visas are generally issued for stays of up to three months.
Types of Visa and Cost
Visitor 1 month: free (single entry). Visitor 3 month: L£50,000 (single-entry); L£100,000 (multiple-entry). Transit (available at the border): up to 48 hours free; 48 hours to 15 days: L£25,000.

Echoing what previous respondents have said, but also if you are going with a tour party then your tour provider can do all the visa applications for you. Though this usually takes longer and costs more. Whichever way you do it - have a really good time. Try to visit Bcharre, Tripoli and the Qudesha Valley (not sure if they are spelt right). I went a couple of years ago, the people are fantastic. The scenery is beautiful and the food is good. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Just take your British passport and in the airport you will get a 3 month visit visa.

You can obtain Visas through your local Lebanese Consul or Embassy .
Valid for 3 months from memory ...you can get multiple entry visas in the event you wish to skip across into Syria.

As a rule you request visa at the embassy in the country where you live. Depending on the status your country has with that country you can handle this by mail or you have to get it personally.

I believe you can do Lebanon by mail. Check this for specifics:

No. A passport is always needed to travel from and back to the UK. Other European countries have ID cards. We don't have those, so it has to be a passport.

You need to apply for a visa in your country. Go to the Lebanese consulate in your country and find out the details.

you don't specify if you are lebanese. if you are, you don't need a visa you travel with your british passport and produce a lebanese Id there for entry.
