I think why not? My dad does...he has been smoking weed since he was about 13. He's been married to my mother for 25 years. He works everyday from 9-5 and does his job well. He's no different from any other 48 year old male. He just enjoys doing it, like some guys enjoy, say, golfing.

I know someone with this same description. I think Ken is a great guy who holds down a full-time job, takes care of his 2 kids better than his ex-wife, and seems to be very alert!!! Ken always talks about side jobs besides his full-time job and he always talks about cleaning his house. I think it don't matter if a person smokes weed to affect their everyday responsibilities!

I'd applaud him for taking care of his responsibilities. But I'd wonder why he needed to escape from reality so often. There must be some problem that is overwhelming him that he can't face life without mind-altering illegal substances. So I would hope that he would get his life straightened out so he wouldn't need to escape so much. Life should be enjoyable as it is, with no drugs or excess alcohol to fog your experience of it.
And I might remind him that buying weed supports a network of violence in drug dealing. The stuff itself is fairly benign, but the social damage and abuse of other people that goes into its production is really corrosive. You read about people being shot because they get lost and acccidentally find a pot field in the woods. Like other drugs, it can be smuggled into the US in the body cavities of dead people. Smoking it does him little harm, but it harms society as a whole a great deal, so someone who is truly responsible would take that into consideration as well.

What do you think of a guy who drinks alcohol everyday but takes care of his responsibilities. Same thing...except weed is illegal for some reason. I would think he is better than any man who doesn't take care of his reponsibilities.

its ok weed smells good and most weed smokers are nice and do take care of there responsibilitys...as long as youtake care of your self and a job and your family your good to go!

well......................personally I don't like the idea of a man smoking weed, but if he is taking care of his responsibilites then I could probably tolerate it for a period of time

i think its wrong, weed is illgal, and it is for a reason. its stupid and i dont think you can take care of your responsibilities if you are. get a life. break free. stop doing it. thats what i think.
