On paper, the teams that stand out are the Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, Cardinals, Twins. With the exception of the Tigers, the same teams as usual. Whoever stays consistent and works the hardest and gets the bounces will win it. Who knows? Toronto looks good too. The A's don't have a weakness in their lineup, except maybe at shortstop. If the Reds bullpen keeps up, they will be tough. If Clemens comes back healthy, Astros may win the central.

Well your right i think the braves will have a good season with both the Jones' returning also the great play of Francoeur and Adam Langerhans, the pitching is decent to with Smoltz, Hudson, and Wickman in the bullpen.
In the AL i think the Red Sox will have a great year with Matsuzaka, Schilling, Beckett, and Wakefield. I think they have the best starting rotation in the league. There offense is going to be great with Lugo leading off, and Ortiz and Ramirez following. Including Varitek, and Mike Lowell.

Mets and Red Sox. Mets got a lot of young talent.( reyes, wright, delgado, and beltran)
Red Sox will have a good season too.
They got a lot of talent too. Red Sox has Matsuzaka, Beckett, and Schilling starting and has Jonathon Papelbon closing again. They got Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz hitting.
Red Sox this year has a better lead off hitter this year (julio lugo). Coco Crisp just did nothing last year leading off. Only thing that can stop these 2 teams from making playoffs is a lot of injuries.
