They lost four starters. They will be in for a couple of years of rebuilding. Tennessee is the early favorite in the SEC for next year. They are only losing one starter. Kentucy will also need a couple of years to adjust to a new coach.

A few of the players- Horford, Brewer, Green, and I think Noah- have declared for the draft. Now if Donovan doesn't go to the NBA with them, which I find is unlikely, they'll be competitive in the SEC next year, but I would not have them as a top contender for the NCAA title. However, they'll be back in the hunt before the end of the decade

Al Horford, Joakim Noah, Taurean Green, Corey Brewer, and Lee Humphries, Florida's starting five are all going to the NBA, leaving the returning players with an average of 11 something points a game, 2nd fewest to the North Carolina team of a few years ago...therefore, sadly, there will be no 3-peat

It's possible. Nobody thought that the current team would win after Walsh, Roberson and Lee left for the draft two years ago. I'm sure with Billy Donovan's coaching and the experience the bench players got playing against the starters in practice, these guys have a good chance of making a run.

Florida won't fall off totally, but you can't lose all 5 starters from this 2 year run of theirs and repeat a third time. It was a spectacular show while it lasted, though.

I've been raised to be quite anti-gator, but it was hard as an SEC fan to not pull for those guys. They did a great thing for their program and for the game itself. Besides, Humphrey is from my neck of the woods so it's doubly hard to hate a local guy (especially since it's not like he spurned UT...I don't think they even gave him a look).

No...they aren't going to win for at least the rest of this decade. They lost the 4 starting juniors: Noah, Horford, Green, & Brewer. They also lost Humphrey and top reserve Chris Richards to graduation. Very hard to repeat when you lose your top 6 players.

The is absolutely 0% that Florida has any chance of winning the national title again. They lost their starters and their six man. They will be lucky if they beat South Carolina and make the NIT.

Unless the team can find replacements for the players they lost, another win is virtually impossible.

Considering the entire team just declared itself eligible for the NBA draft, I'd say no.
