what the percentage of freshmans dropping out of pre-med ?

I assume that many freshmans begin their first year with pre-med in their mind. But whats the percent drop rate after they realize they can't make it through chemistry. Say if you have 8,000 pre-med the first year will there be 3,000 the second year(sophmore) year?

The problem here is that freshmen do not normally have to declare they are premed. They may be aligned with biology or other content similar courses and build or drop out of a premed path before they ever commit.
