I am visiting a very remote area of my country Nepal where facilities such as cellphone network, telephone network, are not present. All that is present is electricilty.
I am taking my laptop with me, a simple laptop with no wireless internet add-ons.
Can you please tell me how i can connect to the internet from such an area. What kind of hardware is rewuired and how should I configure them?
I need to use internet for just emails and nothing else.
The purpose is very much important and i am leaving day after tomorrow so please help me.

From a remote area without cell phone reception, no hard wired telephones or cable allows only one internet choice: satellite connection.

You'll need a satellite modem phone. The equipment is pretty expensive. Start at an upscale computer store or electronics shop.

Satellite hook-up, but it is very expensive. You may get lucky and things may have changed since you had gone and you may find an Internet cafe they have them all over the world now. Or find the largest hotel in that area and see if they have Internet access. It never hurts to ask.

Your only option is to get a satallite hookup. This will probably be fairly expensive.
