Well, I knew I was "getting old" when I realized that I didn't know EVERYTHING about current music, when my knees started popping so loud when I stood up I thought the sound was gunshot, when I recognized that I was transposing numbers and letters, when I realized that I didn't know what my 22 year old interns were talking about when they said "emo",and when I stopped worrying about techno-anything (MP3 , IPOD, computer-speak, programming a cell phone, "razors", etc.) and just let my young friends "program" all my gadgets for me. LOL. Otherwise I'm still young, crazy, and funny.

There are many things one can do or say showing they are "old" and there are verying degrees also. Just remember 70 is only 10 years old in dog years.
Some things said would be, "When I was your age...", "Kids today." the ever popular "Wait until your father gets home", You kids today just don't appreciate what you have." One big sign is the women whose perfume you can smell a half a block away and actually forces you to miss a step as they pass by, and can still smell them another half block in the other direction.
Keep the Q's comin'

Age is relative, when your 12, 20 is old. When you're 60, 70 is old. For me generally an "old person" only lives in the past and is sledom aware of the good things going on around them. A little sad, but that is life.

They are saying that 50 is ther new 30. Proven fact the people are living longer. I know a lady that is 101, and still very lively! There was a man on TV the other day that just got his drivers license renewed and he is 102! And was driving a sports cars!

Generally speaking age gaps of 15-20 years often leave a person confused. I tend to avoid questions created for the very young and immature. Over all I am willing to talk to any adult of any age. I try to avoid children because I am not a pedophile.

It's all relevant...40 is old to a 20 year old, but young to an 80 year old..when they are not willing to learn or listen to new ideas, they are as old as it gets....

Old is a state of mind for the most part. It also depends on what you are trying to do and whether or not you have kept your health up.

You're only as old as you feel! It depends... some 80 year olds feel great, while some 30 year olds are on their deathbeds.

There really is no real age to be considered old, I feel when you lose your ability to think and do for yourself then you might be considered old. =)
