How much would it cost me to ship 4 tires? not only the rims but also the tire attach to it.

I just need an estimate because i am going to list them on ebay and i don't want to ruin the shipping price by me just guessing. I dont have time to go to UPS or fed ex so can anyone tell me around how much would it cost me.

They are 17's with the tires still on them.....

Also do you have to cover them or can i ship them like that?

i own a shop and since they base everything on size and weight ,this could be pretty expensive to do,i ordered a spare rim and shipping was 28 bucks just to get the rim here to my shop,so it could be pretty high, good luck .

Evidently they did. The announcers said that the tire wear never got any better so something was terribly wrong. It sounds like Goodyear just messed up completely. Think of how much money these teams that hit the wall wasted with wrecked cars. So how is NASCAR making it cheaper for teams if they can't get the tires right and has cars slamming walls? Why did they not throw a read flag and change to the Pocono tires? I'll say it again. NASCAR is unable to keep the playing field level. They can't even get the tires right. I'm beginning to wonder if this story about "wrong tires were shipped" is just a "cover-up" for NASCAR and Goodyear supplying the wrong tire compounds? They knew yesterday during practices that there was a problem with the tire wear. Why did they not look into it before the race? Cover-up...!!! The Pocono tires could have been the ones raced today. If so that means the tires for Pocono may be mixed up and be the Indianapolis tires. Oops...!!!

You are required to get the tires / wheels ready to ship. The person buying the mounted tires pays the shipping. Consult FedEx and UPS to see how they them prepared for shipment. They'll tell you the price after you have them ready. I've got a feeling each tire / wheel will need to be boxed separately do the the weight. Call a trucking company. They'll mount all four on a pallet.

You'll need to know shopping prices so that the buyer knows the total.
