Freedom of speech is not absolute. I suggest you do some research into Freedom of Speech under the 1st amendment. There is a long history of Supreme Court cases that defines what is and is not protected.

Whoo! You are treading a thin line there, girl.

Freedom of speech is not an open ticket to insult or discriminate.

If one is intelligent and educated and mature enough, ones use of language and a good vocabulary can get the point across without using derogatory innuendos or profanity. It is only those with limited vocabulary and knowledge that use epiteths - be they profane or racial slurs.

Awwww ....such a cute little racist you are. Why don't you try not saying things that are bigoted and racist and then people would not get mad at you. Why don't you think before you speak and not say things that are offensive to people. Not as a matter of legality but as a matter of being a decent human being. Now I am sure you are just in a pout about my words now. Think about it......I have just used my freedom of speech to call you what you are....a racist. Freedom of speech needs to be left alone. Bush has already gutted the constitution enough with his Patriot Act.

You neglected to mention a few things, free speech is only for minorities. Most caucasians that speak against ANY minority are subject to being arrested for hate crimes.

Wow that was a very racist thing to say...I am not sure any research shows that blacks sue when offended...I've never heard of it.
