absolutely not. everybody is different. most first time mothers don't show that quickly but often second time mothers and beyond show that early. some people don't show until the very end. i would embrace that. pregnant bellies are my absolute favorite! i loooove them. they are so beautiful.

no there is nothing wrong with that! im almost 18 weeks and people ask me if im 6 or 7 months pregnant, but i was also very small and petite so thats probably why im showing so early. So no there is nothing wrong with that

I think it just depends on how your body feels! I had twins 16 mths ago, and even at 35 weeks when i had them people didn't have a clue i was carrying twins....so imagine the shock!!! From other twin mothers i have been told that they were definitely bigger even by 8weeks! So maybe it may be a good idea to get an US scan...

It may be just bloating and fluid retention, but if it makes you feel better, my normal trousers stopped fitting when I was 8/9 weeks pregnant.
It doesn't mean there's anything wrong, or that you are having twins, as I'm sure many people will want to tell you is going to happen- it just means your body is revealing your secret a little earlier than you were prepared for!
Congratulations, and good luck!

You could be just really bloaded since ur body retains more water when pregnant, but it's also possible to show this early, with singleton pregnancy(1 baby) or more. When you go in for an ultrasound you can see if theres more than one baby, does it run in ur moms side? Some women just tend to show earlier than others.

If you are extremely thin or if this is not your first pregnancy it is normal. Really it is perfectly normal in anyone to show at different times, as there is no hard and fast "rule" about when you begin to show. If you are really concerned that it may be a sign of a problem you might mention it to your OB.

if you are super small or having twins this is normal to be showing already. Now if your medium to large build you wouldnt be showing yet. You could also be further along than you think. Suggest an u/s to your dr. to make sure everything is ok and that there is only one! lol, good luck!!!

i was showing at 5weeks. it depends on your figure. if you don't have extra fat you will show. the doctor thought i was having twins.. i am 23 weeks and i am still only carrying weight on my belly. And i am still not that big! Normal size.
Don't worry, it doesn't mean you are going to be extra big!
