I first wish the best of luck... As far as I'm concerned, I would not ask the interviewer for more details about the test. First reason is it would tell the interviewer that you are not fully confident in yourself (your skills). I've had quite a few interviews lately and I understand that you are anxious... What type of job are you looking to get. Do you feel you have all the skills ??? It is really a normal thing to be nervous, but keep in mind that often the first 5 minutes of the INTERVIEW is where most of your "selling yourself" is done.... I would even say that another candidate with a better score on the SKILL test but whom the interviewer doesn't connect with could be second to you... Stay confident, review your interview skills, dress nice and be courteous.... Think positive and review all you can about the skills you have acquired that link to this job...

Again good luck

I would pass on that idea. Look at the situation from the interviewers position.

You sound like you lack confidence and won't be a productive employee.

Forget about the interview and test, just go do it. Fretting over it won't help, it will only make you more anxious. Deal with your anxiety and you will be fine. The question you have to ask yourself is, Are you qualified. You must be according to your resume. You will probably get the job if you are capable.

Don't worry, be happy

Well, I think it would be better than showing up and not knowing what in the world you're supposed to do. I think they might briefly explain the skill test AT the interview, but if you're feeling a little doubtful, then you should ask. Then again, this opinion is from someone who's too young to even have a job yet, so I have no experience...but hey, this is my gut feeling; what's yours?

NO, you may not!

What you can do is search the library and/or the Internet for interview guides in the government sector. Some samples of skill test ought to be there somewhere.

You're gonna be okay. Feel confident...think confident and act confident. Good luck.

Instead of e-mailing, call him.

More than likely, he will tell you that he can't tell you anything. You should ask him what the scope of the tests are, so that you can adequately prepare yourself.

Be sure to do this professionally. If you do take this initiative to contact him, recognize that THIS contact now becomes your first few minutes of your interview. He will already start to guage your ability and confidence.
