Just cause I'm conservative, doesn't mean live in a monastery. I'm a horn dog from way back.I can get just a rank as the next guy. Don't make me get nasty!

I think you're confusing fear with avoidance. I don't fear talking about sex, but when the school wants to teach my children about sexual deviancy I have to draw the line. It's up to the parent, not the government or school, to talk to kids about sex. Just because they feel uncomfortable about it isn't a reason for the govt to take over.

No, you're not the only one. Only the social conservatives fear sex topics, but you wouldn't want to sleep with most of them anyway.
Fiscal conservatives have no problem with sex, except for the fact that we can never get enough.

Right now, our federal government spends 300 million a year on teaching abstaning from pre-marital sex in classrooms throughout the country. Yikes.

What do you want to talk about French, Greek, Roman, dirty sanchez? What?
Republicans are not AKA conservatives. Most Republicans are not conservative anymore. Most true conservatives have left the Republican party.
So you haven't alienated the Republicans but I'm not sure us Conservatives want anything to do with you and your ignorant generalizations.

Based on the above statement out of your 360, maybe it is not fear, but rather a lack of anything in common with you.

I am a moderate, leaning toward the Conservative side, and an Independent. But I don't vote Republican. I think about it.

They dont have a view on it that they feel would accurately represent the position of the cause so they stay out of it.

I wasn't aware they did. It would be a decent Freudian style research topic though.
