I have a couple of goldfish that are laying on the bottom corner of the tank side by side, they dont swim or move to much. There's also a third fish that stays close by and sometimes lays side by side as well.
I just noticed it, so it hasn't been going on for to long.

They are alive. I do have a 55 Gal tank. I've had them for sometime now, and they are usually very active. Thereare enough bubbles on the tank. Temp is fine. Filter is OK. They dont look sick.

I'll check the ph and oxygen. Thanxs!

Check your nitrites. Ammonia may be up. They may be getting ick, watch for salt looking spots in the next few days. The oxygen could be low. You should have a good bubbler going for every 20 gallons at least, it adds surface area and rids the tank of carbon dioxide. Temps could be too low, GF are really happiest and grow the fastest at temps kept consistantly in the mid to high 70's. They could be overfed. They could be asleep. If they bottom sit all day long, something is definatly wrong. Doesn't ever hurt to do a 50% water change. Keep up with your water changes. 25-50% once a week, depending on stocking densities and the size of the home. When you have a problem with fish first have your water tested. If your ammonia or nitrite is over 1ppm, its time to change at least 50% of the water. Nitrates over 40 ppm, change water. If your ph is rising, sign something is leeching into the water, Ph falling is sign of a deadly tank crash, water changed and buffers added to return water to previous ph quickly, is what you do in that case.
Hope some of this helps.

If these are new fish to your tank they are probably just stressed from the move and need time to adjust and settle in. Otherwise, there cold be several things going on in the tank. The first that comes to mind is low dissolved oxygen. Make sure your filter is moving as much water as it should.

Another possibility is ammonia or nitrite problems. A good water change will help that significantly.

Lastly there is the possibility of disease. Watch them closely for any other signs of disease such as spots, bumps, red areas etc. At this point there is no firm indication of a disease problem so I would not encourage you to try to treat the tank for anything at all.

Hope that helps

How big is the tank'? Three goldfish need at least a 55 gallon tank, contrary to popular belief.
