Actually, the questions that got the most answers I've seen were not the best thought-out, quite the contrary.
These were questions about mundane things, that people could answer easily. I think the question "Do you have a car?" got something like 80 answers.
So if you want to do this little experiment, try asking something like that in the "polls and survey" sections. Also, do it between 5 - 7 pm eastern, when more users are on-line (Since most users seem to be American).

If that's the most perfect question contained in the religion section, I anticipate you to regulate lives. are you able to do it? it may be not basic thinking you in simple terms had 732 characters left yet, regardless of in case you had 5482628 characters left, it may be not basic. a lot of folk the following disagree only for the sake of disagreeing. you'll get as a lot undesirable comments as you may solid comments. If this isn't the most perfect question ever, i'm dropping my time. yet i'm replying so for sure I really position self assurance in you. If i found this lame i could allow you to know. I probable does no longer even reply. I see that it really is the most perfect, do not trouble. And to boot, even the emperor concept he had the finest clothing ever, do you no longer imagine you've the finest question ever? If there's a small little bit of doubt on your innovations, you're literally not the emperor, so his clothing do no longer keep on with. i'm extraordinarily bored.

A lot of people answer what they know, what they're interested in. A question that would get the most answers would be an opinion question because you could be the biggest dumbass in the world and still know what your favorite color was. Ask something easy like "how old are you" unless you're trying to get an intelligent, thought provoking answer, then you just bank on how many nerds are on at one time.

I think you answered your own question.... why is the lure of knowlege so powerful? It's because knowlege IS power, and there is SO MUCH to LEARN !!! It's beautiful to learn and be curious; it's beautiful to understand something for the first time. People like you are rare and I applaud you.
I think you have an underlying interest in philosophy, which is learning for the sheer joy of learning.

You answered your own question.
In Buddhism, the concept would be considered in terms of aversions and attachments. If learning is appealing, you'll likely move towards it.

Ask a question that, worldwide, is very disputed. Where there are alot of theories, and where people can get very emotional. Also, tell us that you're looking for ALOT of answers! But, you could ask "Why is your country the best of them all?" You could also ask a question about religion, or your philosophy of life.

Because the very concept of knowing is knowing that you know nothing, until an absolute is reached, one will always have a desire to fill the void of ignorance.
