My partner and I only work about 6-12 hours a week, each. We spend the rest of our time together or at least in the same room. Our apartment isn't very big. We're happy with this situation and very comfortable with eachother. How many of you could actually tolerate this? I've known of a few couples who were married for awhile and couldn't stand this! My partner and I have lived together for about 2 years. It really because we are young or is it just us? What do you think?

I couldn't tolerate this. I hate my wife. I prefer to be with other women.

You need to work more and find a bigger place for one you may like it now but as you get older you will be like wholly crap this place is way to small. The next thing is your young and why you ain't married yet? Living together for 2yrs? Average person works atleast 40hrs a week. So why do you work so little? Also how do you work so little and afford to pay rent and bills and put food on your table and clothes on your backs I would love to know? I would say spend roughly
35-40 hrs a week with my wife! Married 8yrs together over 10yrs.

When we are not working (9-5) we spend all of our time together. He's laying next to me snuggled in a blanket taking a nap right now. We've lived this way for 10 years. When it's the right partner, it's not a problem.

My fiancee and I spend maybe two hours before I go to work then two hours before bed. Then we have Tuesdays all day together. We both want to see more of each other so he is going to start paying for childcare so we can be at home together at night. We want to be a normal family with are children. I think its healthier to spend equal amounts of time with your spouse if not your relationship will go down hill. If you and your partner are both happy with spending that much time that is great.

I work an average of 40 hours a week. On the weekends my wife and I spend the days together, and after I get home from work during the week, we spend our time together alone after the kids go to bed, plus time together with the kids. I'd have to say during the week I spend over 30 hours with my wife, and all day on Sat. & Sun.

I enjoy spending time with her.

We basically work the same hours, minue he works evening on Fridays so I'm home along about 4 hours. All other times, we're together. I even took another job so we could have that time together.

Let's see, hmmmm...

We ride to work together, then I hop on the train to my office (he parks where he works) commute from our house to his office is around 2 hours.

He calls me at least 4 times during the work day; to remind me of things, and to say I love you,

We ride home together (around 2 hours)
We share baby duties (triplets) takes about an hour to get everybody fed, bathed, and changed.
We have dinner together, and talk, maybe an hour or so. Then call it a night.

We spend our entire weekend together.

When you belong together, you belong together.

All hours except his working regular hours. We have gone through months of spending 24/7, and loved it. We have been married over 17 years. We adore each other, so all is good when this happens.
Are you two independently wealthy or what?????????????
