In the front of the vehicle you have a trunk, and in the back of the vehicle, you have another trunk, with a very small access pannel just large enough for the oil fill, oil dip stick, and windshield washer fluid fill to be. Just for the people who have never seen/worked on one of these vehicles.
There is an access pannel behind the back seat, but its hard to remove. the rear dash does remove as well, and once again, its somewhat a pain to remove. The easiest way to get access to this engine is from underneith the vehicle. This is one of thoes things were taking it a Porsche authorized repair shop, or dealer is the best thing. They only want you to be able to check the small things, oil level ect, and leave the larger things for the professionals.

Seems the Porsche people do not want people playing with their engines. Except for the little door for checking the oil, there is no easy access

You are funny! You have to find the hood release, usually a pull lever around the drivers leg area on the dash or below. Good luck, and don't fool around in there without asking more questions.
Update:
Wow, I stand corrected. I am surprised it's so hard to get to. My sympathies to you!
