No, I don't believe in gravity. Newton should be locked up for his so called "theories".

We are all born ignorant. Drawing a conclusion as to why that bird can fly and you cannot relies heavily on your reasoning ability.
I am assuming this question relates to the current debate over global warming.
A person's belief as to the cause of global warming has no basis on any physical law such as gravity. It solely depends on interpretation of recorded data.
There is no doubt that the climate is shifting. The problem is that is a normal occurrence cause be many different factors. Singling out man's activity as the sole reason is not logical. A bigger factor in climate shift is natural forces.
The debate is moot in my opinion anyway. It makes no practical sense for mankind to keep pumping billions of tons of pollutants into the atmosphere in the first place. We shouldn't need some dire future event just to keep the environment green and the air fresh. Trying to keep a clean environment is like the battle to get a teenager to clean his room, the ante has to keep going up.
In my opinion, polluting the environment is stupid, not ignorant.

I think it would be similar to a neocon checking their local thermometer and saying there is no such thing as global warming because we are having a cold winter. You get a mixed denial of the existence of global warming along with denial that we somehow caused/contributed to it.
birds do not respond to gravity just as the enviroment does not respond to human activity. I am not saying gravity isnt real its a natural phenomena with a long history. Its just what is the actual cause of gravity and why if its real can a bird ignore it at will.

I'm a republican. I throw a rock at the bird to get the law of the universe back in order. That or I'm a mean person who wants to get revenge on things that messed up my car.

If birds would stop mechanically operating their wings then they would drop from the skies in much in the same way that an airplane would fall when stopping it's engines. Unless of course it was a glider then it would not come down rapidly but coast slowly down.

It tends to be about the profound ignorance of the person looking. Same with global warming. If you see the evidence and take it in a completely stupid way, that's your fault. AT this point, it's looking like the planet earth is about to get one massive Darwin award.

I see snow flurries flying out my window. That alone disproves global warming. I do though wish it was real. I like summers and wish the summer season would last longer.
