Nobody is never truly happy with who or what they are.
Why do I say this?
Simple, is there any one person in the world that doesn't want something?
I doubt it everybody wants more money, a promotion at work, an easier life or even a better body.
Humans always seek to better themselves in many ways, if we didn't we'd all be stuck in the dark ages.
We all have dreams, you couldn't live without them . Dreams give us the ambition and motivation everyday to get through life.

We are all works in progress. To be happy with who we are at the moment only determines what we will do, or not do, to become who we want to be in the next moment. And we are never able to "become" something within ourselves because that would lend to the belief that there is an end point from the beginning, and there isn't. As for myself, I am alive. I am a mother, a lover, a wife and a friend. I am growing and with each day as I grow older, I grow more. More aware, more honest, more humble, more determined, more. And I am happy.

Well I have many "Pro's & Con's" about that question....I do know I'm an intelligent woman, I just wish I hadn't waisted my young years on "Poor Choices" in husbands, and went after my dreams instead........ Also, I wish I'd of never had so many disfunctional fall backs, stemmed from my "Badly Abusive" childhood!!! Because of my childhood I dont have alot of self esteem, because it was beating out of me, at a very young age for many years!! And they say the first 5 years of a childs life are who they will become as "Adults" and this has effected me as an adult in a bad way...... I never follow things through as planned, because I dont believe in myself enough, because everytime I get close to the "Mark" I can still hear those horrible echoes of my step-mom, saying we were "Nothings!!" And I never finish things, right when I'm ready to become successful, too!!! I've come so close to being a "Court Stenographer" a "model" a "Medical Assistant" a "Business Associate", "A Secretary for a Pretigiuos Law Firm, who waited for me, to come and be interviewed by them for two months, and I let them down because I didn't feel good enough for the job, but came highly recommended by a legal aid, company I worked for!!! I have let myself down over & over again so many times in life, that I feel as though there's nothing else left, that I'm too old now, and that it wont ever happen now...... Who knows? Great Question!! Smile!!!

For the most part, yes! If I could go back and do some things differently, I might, but my life has been filled with interesting life lessons. I would love to be reincarnated, knowing all I know now, in the next life. I have learned and grown so much during this lifetime, although I'm sure there is much more to learn.
I'm 55 BTW.

"Happy" is (for me) too strong a word. I'm reasonable content, but, at the same time, I like to think that (at 64) I'm still a "work in progress" and "have many miles to go and promises to keep before I sleep."
So, while I'm fairly content with who I've become so far, I'm still hoping for further progress/improvement. So, I can't say I'm "happy' with who I am now.

That a really good question.
I think that to a point yes. I'm only 21 and I do want to achieve much more. Everything that I have achieved at this point of time has been down to me, and it makes me proud. But I'm human and I have made mistakes...and the only person I blame for those big mistakes is me. The only thing is do is to learn from those mistakes.
