She has been completely out of control and I see on Yahoo news that Imus is being chatised and calls for the station that produced his show to punish him severely. I have not seen a mention anywhere about Rosie`s over the top rants.

Because what you characterize as her outrageous remarks are the truth. Republicans are allergic to the truth. So I guess you're a Republican, eh? It's fine to lie to the American people and soldiers and send them into an armed conflict without body armor and THAT'S not outrageous?

While I agree she hasn't been given the same treatment as Imus, but to say you haven't seen any mention of her rants "anywhere???" Gee, where've you been!

I routinely search on this sight for Rosie questions. (go to advanced search & search open Qs.) There aren't near as many as with Imus, but they are there!

But to answer the question "Why?" Because the media doesn't seem to care when a conservative is bashed. Liberal rants are fine, conservative rants are scandals. (not that Imus is a conservative) So the mainstream screams "freedom of speech" if anyone critisizes Rosie (as if free speech doesn't allow critisism) but calls for dismissal of Imus & years ago on SPN, Rush.

Because it's all just a show. This is the kind of garbage that the new low class American thrives on. The popularity of the Jerry Springer show and others demonstrates how the vast majority of television viewers are now what we used to call the scum of society. Lets just hope that humans extinct themselves soon and another species gets a shot at running the planet.

The View is a talk show where the ladies express their varied opinions. It doesn't matter if we agree with her or not. We just have to be open minded enough to know that everyone has an opinion and has the right to express it. I believe Imus has the same rights.

I think Rosie is great for speaking her mind and actually had the balls to put some sense into that pompous windbag Donald Trump.

She's like the village idiot. After a while, everyone gets tired of laughing at her doing stupid stuff. She should move on to the next venture. What a c--t.
