What makes you think the men don't react the same way. Maybe women don't hide their emotions and that it why it seems so obvious. Maybe women are more possessive. There could be whole lot of reasons but if the friendship with the other gets too close then of course the wife will get agitated unless the marital relationship does not mean anything.

Because it is disrespectfull.........and they probably made her feel he couldn't be trusted.......and women know how some women can be........the wife picks up on these things way before the husband does. We have a very keen sense of things.......... Example: The wife is at work......the divorced woman neighbor brings homade cookies over to your husband and they both share cookies and coffee together. When the wife comes home from work she notices a few cookies on a strange plate and two coffee cups in the sink. The wife asked who was here today? Husband tells wife"oh it was only the next door neighbor. Wife says "oh" and lets it go. A few days latter the cute sexy looking neighbor appeares at the door again. This time she baked a chocolate cake .......she again shares several hours with the womans husband again. The wife of the man returns home from her job to find the neighbor next door has visited again. This time the wife says "that's enough". The husband gets angry and feels his wife dosn't trust him...........They argue about this and the husband states" she's a really nice lady she baked cookies for us and a nice chocolate cake. The moral of the story is............... a few days latter her next desert was shared in my bedroom!!!!!........He is so sorry now it wasn't his fault............... I shoved him up her *** and divorced him over iy. This is why ladies get angry and agitated when their spose gets friendly with another woman.

Ok, I would think the answer here would be obvious. Accidents happen, people do hold insecurities and men do not understand (generally) that to most women if their man has a close and emotionally intimate "friendship" with another woman It can feel more threateninig and more of a betrayal than if he had had a one night stand. The close male-female friendship instills insecurity because the woman feels as if there are intimate needs of her man she is not meeting....that her husband is confiding in a nother woman those things which she feels he only should confide in her.

How would YOU like it if your wife started getting friendly with some other man? Say, if she left you in the middle of the street and went off with her 'friend' saying "Hi!!" ? Would you feel great??
