That's an old saying, but it not true and it is true, you can replace a body for another body, but that person won't be the same, you won't have the same love for that person, that person may not work as much as or in some cases work less then the other person, you may not be able to depend on that person, they won't look like, talk like, act like the other person, etc, things that make that person special to us. so you can replace a body, but you can not replace a person. You could never be replaced in the hearts of the people whom love you. You will always be remember.

That's awful! No one is replaceable. Like when you lose a friend, you will make new ones, but they will never replace your old ones... or when your parents get a divorce... if I were to say that the stepparent was a replacement of the birth parent, that would just be rotten, and everyone would feel like doing something terrible to me. No one is replaceable... when you lose someone, finding someone else can help alleviate the pain of your loss, but they'll never replace the person you lost.

Yes they are. The only exceptions are parents and children. Good parents could never replace their children and children could never replace their parents.

From the viewpoint of being a worker bee, we are all replaceable.

From the viewpoint of our loved ones, our friends, I would argue we are not replaceable...

Think about it....
