Wow, really, I couldn't care less. He doesn't like the same books I like. In fact, I think he'd rather read comic books. Wow, really I couldn't care less, but he gives me this puppy dog face when I go on the internet instead of watching movies with him, but his movies are so boring. He's watching some James Bond movie right now, but I can't be bothered to pay attention. I get the jokes, but I hate the plot. Should I feel bad?
*Note, I know this is not really a serious question!!!!

Well we live together and neither of us work more than 6 to 12 hours per week, we spend all of the time outside of work together (Our apartment is small)! So, not paying attention to him during a movie isn't exactly a bad thing...

First of all how can you live I work 40+hrs per week and my
wife works around 24 hrs per week and even then it is hard living pay check to pay check. You must have trust funds or are just lazy. Really though sometimes watch a movie of his
then the next time you get a movie you like he will be obligated to sit and watch with you it is compromise it is a noraml aspect of any good relationship. I guess I'm lucky my wife likes the same kind of show's and movies I like except for maybe sci-fi and horror. You should not feel bad but this is just a good time to spend time together and hey nobody you can't fall asleep during the movie. Even though it is action most of the James Bond movies are like girly movies with some action thrown in. I bet if you wanted to watch say
Pretty Woman for the I don't know the 10th time he wouldn't mind watching it with you really just spending time together is fun.

Being a couple doesn't mean you like exactly the same things. My husband and I have learned that its OKAY if the other doesn't want to watch the same movie. I've even suggested that he and my best friend GO to certain movies together because they both like them. ( I'm very picky about my comedy, he and my best friend like Will Farrell movies and I'd rather have teeth pulled) They both annoy me by giving me the movie details, secondhand, which is worse than the original movie! I also don't expect him to watch the occasional chick flick that I find entertaining. Don't feel bad, and if he gives you puppy dog eyes, tell him "sure, I'll watch it, if we can watch (insert a movie you love, he hates, here) after" lol

My husband and I are the same way. He watches all the movies he wants and I'm usually on the computer.. He understands that I don't like "dark" or violent movies.
When something comes up that I want to watch he'll watch with me and that's our time together. He looks for things that I might like and he's right on target with those.
We go to the movies every week or so. It's usually mild movies (romantic comedies or PG 13 without the violence.). He likes the time we spend together.
When he wants to watch his manly man movies (with the blood, gut gore etc.) he goes with his son. So it works out great for us.

No, don't feel bad about that at all.
Gee, this totally contradicts another question I just answered about you - how HAPPY you were spending all that time with your dude.
I guess that feeling faded pretty quickly, eh?

It's not a problem as long as your showing an interest in some other things that he does enjoy.
