i want to but the new sony viao in pink or green even though i only want it for the color ( i know its stupid) but its expensive and i read that its not very goood and alot of people had trouble with it. i also dont need a lot of fetures just a movie player and cd burner mabey ( minus cd burner if its more expensive. also could you please list some laptops that you like that are inexpensive and dont look to masculine kthnx!

I had this very debate with my girlfriend last week. Her argument:
It's cute
It's sony
My argument
It's marked up because it's sony
Needless to say she won the argument, She's now the proud owner of A Sony Vaio C25G/P.
It runs fine, I've never had a problem with VAIO's before the only thing that gets to me is th 100-300 markup for the name. But if aesthetics is something that you are taking into account then buy it, they are relatively sturdy little beasties.

There are some really tiny, slim, light dual core Toshiba laptops for under $600. The top is a matte dark gray, not the regular laptop-silver. I think they are an almost-as-pretty but wayyy cheaper option for you. Check them out at a local Circuit City/ BB/ CompUSA.
If you really do have the moolah for the Viaos, why not buy a Mac!

I think you can get dell inspirons with specialized covers... The one i saw on TV had flowers on it I think...
Worked on a Mac the other day...there kinda pretty looking... more curved and artistic like...
