All parties have something that they have done that is good. Who has the balls to point out something good that the other side has done?

I appreciate the patriotism of the Republicans.
I appreciate that they have embraced free speech and free expression to some degree.
I appreciate their repeated goals to prevent socialism.
I appreciate their support of religion (though I wish it were wider in scope).
I appreciate their strong stand on ethics.
I appreciate that many of them still believe in innocent until proven guilty, rather than the opposite.
I appreciate the way many of the Republican representatives don't call the other side names as often (though the pundits/show hosts often do).
I appreciate that they understand what Islam intends for the rest of the world and faced it before they had the power to do so (from a family of formally Islamic origin, myself).
Good question. Democrats will come back to Patriot first (even while we protest) and Democrat second. Watch for us, cheer those of us trying to make it happen in a non-seditious way, Republicans!

Dems have brought the environment to better attention. The Bible says we should take care of the earth. But I do think there are greater evils than this.

JFK had the missiles pulled out of Cuba and was the first president to say lowering taxes will increase the economy. i can give the Dem's that much. but i don't agree with much else he or they have done.

McCain has proposed a carbon cap & trade program, and Bush has at least admitted the human role in global warming.
