afterall, there are much worse things to be addicted to. and im not very sociable so this is good for me right?

Only if your addiction interferes with the responsibilities bestowed upon you. You still must fulfill your obligations, and those responsibilities have been fulfilled, perhaps you keep a schedule of sorts, so that you know when you have time to be on your computer, then you have your addiction under control. As long as you aren't harming anyone, and fulfilling your responsibilities, you can use this as a tool to practice your social skills, and perhaps make friends, and it may be more comfortable for you at times cos you just don't feel like talking, but you still wish to communicate. It's not that bad, there are worse things you could be doing.

I don't think addiction of any kind is healthy, but better this than alcohol or drugs. I think this is a great place to vent, interact with others and learn from a variety of people from different places and backgrounds. Just don't let this take the place of seeing friends or family. You need to get out some and try to work on your social skills. I think you are fine and not in any danger of hurting yourself from this addiction, so carry on and enjoy!

This is not a bad addiction by any means. I think a pretty healthy one at that, if this makes you happy then keep doing it. as long as you don't ignore any friends that you do have to sit on the net and do this then it's perfectly OK

Most people are addicted to food as most are fat but maybe you should think about your problem if you feel it is taking and affecting your LIfe.
