All desperation aside, leasing an apartment or house is very difficult, especially without first seeing it. How apt are you to lease an apartment/house without first seeing? If the person/company leasing to you had pictures, though you still could not "walk-through" the home for lease, how would this affect your comfort level? If the person/company offered an interactive DVD with video of the grounds, staff and apartment, how would your comfort level then change?

I've recently undergone this situation after moving from one state to another. We were promised digital pictures emailed to us but never received them.

We were anxious because we had not seen the property we were renting. We knew the general area, because we had lived there before, but couldn't picture the property in our minds.

The emailed pictures certainly would have helped us make a better decision if we had received them. As it turned out, the house and property are ok, but not really what we would like to have. But we vowed we would never do it again.
