Inspired by the question asking what material thing you would take out of your burning house and photoalbums being a very popular answer. I never look at my photoalbums. In fact, there not even albums, there just a couple of shoeboxes. And no, I do not mean to make an album out of them but am too busy to do so, I am just generally not that interested in them. (my memories are in my head, not in the albums, that's about how I feel about them)

My ex wife burnt our wedding abum when I served the divorce papers - saved me from cutting them all in half!

I don't look at them as much as I used to, but that is because my life is so busy right now. We are so busy running the kids all over creation and TAKING the snapshots that get stuffed into the shoe boxes......I have a feeling that in about 20 years when the kids are gone and no longer have time for Mommy and Daddy, I will be sitting on the sofa with my shoe box and crying over the loss of the good ol' days.......

Probably look at each set at least once a year, I've got so many of them that I don't get through them all at once. They remind me of some really good holidays and can trigger off really obscure memories, like being really proud of this pair of sandals I had when I was about 5.
Photo's are a great way of remembering the past.

Not as often as I should!! I've lost so many pictures, through moving and break-ups!! I miss the family pictures I used to have, especially since my family is a long way away and I hardly get to see them anymore!! My bf had the same problem as me, his ex kept all his pictures. Photo's are very special to alot of people. I treasure the ones that I do have now!!

At least once a week i pick out an old album to look through. I'm going through a divorce so it's really hard, but I do it to remember it wasn't all bad--at least i have 2 beautiful kids out of the marriage.

I look at them often. Even if there in your mind, it's nice to have a visual of the memories. Also, you never know what will happen to you when you get older and your memories start to fail. The pictures could be a good reminder.

Occasionally I stumble upon pictures stashed somewhere. This usually happens while I'm looking for something else. It usually takes place somewhere in a closet. Then I come out of the closet with the picture in my hand. Not knowing what to do with the picture; I stash it somewhere else. It's an endless cycle. I wonder why I'm not in too many of them? Well, you never know how you look, till you get your picture took!!!

Mine are in nice books on the coffee table (well my travel ones) and I look at them quite often - especially if I am feeling a little down

Have an enormous box of pictures that I keep meaning to sort through!! I have two completed albums that I never look at and a big boxfull that I also rarely look at.

Not so often now,But i love to look and compare my children as young babies to my grandchildren and see how much alike they all are there are so many memories some forgotten until we bring out the photos...Dxx
