I think he is a charming boy without much singing talent. I do not blame him for the current state of affairs on idol. He is just a victim of circumstance.

He does, however, shine a light on some of the flaws with the voting system. These flaws have always been in existance, but for the first time, they have a legitimate chance of ruining the outcome. Perhaps the producers will have to make some changes before the next season. I've heard a number of good ideas in here, including:

vote for who you want to kick out (not for who you want to keep)
limit the number of votes per person.
let the judges have a vote (like on dancing with the stars)
perhaps online, text and phone voting

Seriously, I think it's sad. First of all, Simon and Randy and Paula, YOU voted to have him go to Hollywood and advance to the finals so where do you get off questioning his legitimacy as a contender for the AI????? It's preposterous! Secondly, it's sad to see people making fun of him when all he wanted to do is sing and see what happened? He had a dream as they all did. The fact that people are voting for him because he is the worst just shows you how many stupid people are in America wasting their time to make a mockery of the voting system. Can you imagine if that happened in the Presidential election? Shame on you America. Cut the kid a break.

ok i hear all this talk about voting for who you want to go and not who you want to stay.

check it , the opposite is also true. It simply means that sanjaya would be getting less votes then he still stays!!!!!!!!!

come on the kid is clearly not the best vocalist, please give him a chance

Love him or hate him, everyone votes for him. Much like George Bush.

I think he must be a distant relative of Nancy Pelosi.
Both arent worthy of national attention due to job preformance.
Both shouldve been voted out long ago
and both have existance tied to special interest...sanajaya with votefortheworst.com and Pelosi with a host of special interest lobbyists.
