I'm wearing a bright blue dress to a day wedding in May and have no idea what color shoes to wear please help!

because your dress is eyecathing in itself, you should go for white flat heels, with a little cut at the end to show a few of your toes, this will give it that elgant, yet sultry look, especially if you have your toenails painted. Go for the more covered type for the rest of the area, rather than those with straps as it will look more formal, look for shoes with maybe some dimond studs or a little bow near the toe area, those are cute.

if you cant find a nice whit pair, maybe consider going for a more metalic colour like silver, make it suttle-too metalic wont go, and too silver will make you look like a walking christmas tree.

You can buy a pair of fabric shoes at any bridal shop and have them dyed to match your dress exactly. If you don't want to do that, go with white or black either one. I like the idea of my shoes exactly matching my dress and it is not a very expensive thing at all. Silver jewelry also looks great with that color blue.

i say go ivory or pearl, white might clash with the blue. i wouldn't wear black shoes with a blue dress. silver is too disco. DONT match the dress to the shoes. it could be overpowering.
