Both have their originality... practically the two cannot be compared!

Heart of a living being is the crux of life on Mother Earth. Until the heart beats... the body is live... the moment heart gives way... the body crumbles and dies. Heart was destined by God Almighty as the homeplace for our soul atman within.

We all know that it is our soul atman within that has manifested this body and not vice versa. It is our heart through which soul atman exercises indirect control over the body. Whenever we tend to do something wrong intentionally... our heart aches. Why? For the simple reason that no soul atman within any body promotes wrongdoings.

Heart has also been designated by medical science as one of the sturdiest parts in the body. No matter what... our heart keeps beating. The abode of soul atman... our heart is definitely very strong.

No human being ever has a mind. It only has a brain. The brain of a human being acts as a receiving and transmitting station like a radio (or transistor). All thoughts floating in the Cosmos can be invoked by any human being through ones brain. Thoughts of positive nature are invoked from the reservoir of mind plus. All negative thoughts from reservoir of mind minus.

Let me give an example-

Every human being has the capability to invoke thoughts of our choice... for this we have to simply train our faculties of the five senses. To listen songs by Britney Spears... I need to tune my radio to a certain frequency. If I want to hear Madonna... I need to choose another frequency. Similar is the case with human brain. As we desire... so can we invoke.

The brain of a human being cannot be compared with the heart. Both are strong as they provide most vital support to the living being. The prime reason why the brain of a human being has been encased in a really solid mass... our skull! More on mind - http://www.godrealized.org/mind_a_universal_phenomenon.html

Both can be broken, both can be lost.

I would consider my heart stronger than my mind, for if I lose my mind but retain my heart, I can still enjoy a live worth living.
If I lose heart and rertain my mind then I am merely reminded of losing heart and all that's worth living along with it. Is it better to be smart or loved?
Proverbs 42 : Above all else, gaurd your heart... for it is the wellspring of life.
It's where life is, all creativity, all love.
I look at this question as is it better to be intellectually superior and emotionally bankrupt; or to have a mental deficit and be emotionally secure. I think not enough importance is placed on the emotional intellegence of our society, and rather than treat hearts, we have been treating minds for too long.

Hearts can be easily broken but not easily lost; minds can be easily lost but not easily broken. Therefore, I'd say minds are stronger. Ability to withstand breaking makes it that way.

Of course, the Ancient Egyptians would disagree; at death they would pull the brain out with a hook through the nose and throw it away. The heart was saved and weighed in the afterlife against a feather to see how pure it was.

Some one once accused Jane Goodall (famous researcher who has lived among chimpanzees for decades) of liking chimpanzees more than humans.

Her response was that she likes some humans more than she likes some chimpanzees and she likes some chimpanzees more than she likes some humans.

Some minds are stronger than some heart, and some hearts are stronger than some minds.

The heart is stronger but you have to bring the mind under submisson, under the mission of the heart.but where is you heart?.my heart is with God so i summit under his mission.Find out where your heart is and and you will see that its all a chain.Thats the holy spirit's job,to find the deepest things of God in you to reveal it to your heart, and the more you feed the spirit the more your soul gets fed causing the soul to send signals to the whole body,to have a change of heart,to have a different attitude, ect. The real question if you ask me is what kind of spirit drives you?GOD BLESS

Its a good question. Your emotions and feelings play a big role in both. A lot of factors combine to battle and clash together. Your principles, morals, values and character sometimes come into conflict in these situations. Its your will, Integrity & personal restraint that ultimately determines which one is stronger and overrides the other.

I think if a person have a strong heart than they're a strong person. And if they have a strong heart they'll have a strong mind. Something like that.
