I love the Scottish people. I have met several and if they are examples of the group as a whole, they are wonderful people. BTW Enjoyed sharing a few pints as well

I've been to Scotland and I'm Scottish.
I think the people are wonderfully friendly and genial and helpful, and the country is the most beautifully craggy and wild place I've ever been (up in the highlands & Skye mostly).
The food is mediocre at best but the beverages are top-notch (IRN-BRU and Scotch are the best!). Great breakfasts and veg food. Terrible fish & chips.
The hatred for England runs rampant. I had to make sure people knew I was American so I wouldn't get beaten up in the street.
Scotland's a great place.

I am an American. I think of Scotland as quaint, out of the way, minds its own country's business and in today's world is sort of pristine. I'd like to visit there. Bagpipes!

You know, I don't know much about Scotland at all and I wish I did. My husband's family is of Scottish descent and I need to make it a point to learn more about the country. Maybe someday my husband and I can travel there.

An interesting beautiful land with loyal, hard-working people. The company I work for has an office in Aberdeen with a webcam. Real go getters who know how to relax in their off time.

It's a country which doesn't cause any world issues. The culture is rich and beautiful, the countryside is lovely. This is what I think. I could care less about the rest of the world.

Beautiful place. Accent is interesting. People there are said to be rough but the ones I know of aren't so I'm not sure how true that belief is.

Cold (weather). Cool Architecture - Charles Rennie McIntosh. I'm actually from Australia but I thought I'd put in my two cents worth! I like the way they pronounce "book".

Ya' gotta' love Scotland, it gave us the Scots! My favorite artist, Donovan, is Scottish. God bless.

In Australia there is no Scottish middle class, they either seem really rich (Range Rover Vogues with SCO sticker on the back window) and live in multi million dollar houses or really poor (union scum), they have incredibly strong accents, they love golf, they are as cold as ice and too many of them are gingers.
