Many people believe we're born religious, and growing up causes our devotion and interest in godly things to wear away.
There will always be a vocal opposition to something you're doing, and your supporters will be on the quiet side. People against something are the ones who tend to be aggressive (or forward) and loud, while ones in agreement simply nod and quietly encourage you to continue on. That's the general way of life. Don't take what some say to heart, but follow the love for God in your heart, and keep up the good work.
It's not a crime to know your mind at a young age; people spend months and years of their adult lives trying to figure out what their values and priorities are after having spent all their efforts doing "what they thought was the right thing to do".
You're aware and conscientious. Good for you, God bless ya' and have a star.

Not too young to be religious.
You should be very proud of yourself for trying to do what's right.
What religion?
You should definitely read into as many religions as you can even those that may be considered taboo. See God from every angle. Get every perspective. Decide for yourself what you believe is right, what god is and what god wants you to do. I'm sure you will do great things and make great decisions and just because you believe somethings from one religion doesn't mean you have to believe them all. Don't label yourself a follower of any particular belief structure. Don't limit yourself by closing doors. Don't refuse knowledge, seek it. You cannot say you know a coin until you see the other side of it. Keep praying.

13 isn't too young to be religious, but it might be too young to be posting here. I could be wrong, of course.
You be who you are. Don't let anyone tell you differently and never forget that the relationship you have with God is yours, and no one else can judge that. Don't back down from your faith, your decision to believe in your faith. I think it's great and more 13 year olds should probably take a page from your book.
Or perhaps you've grown up with this religion, via your parents, and because you're not old enough yet, you've not had a chance to explore other religions, explore yourself. If that's the case, one day it will happen!

no nore will it ever be.
your pretty much religious once your baptized or introduced into your faith
i know that christians (cuz i'm one) would be EXTREMLY happy to know that they have a son/daughter so religious and obeying (sorry cant think of the word.)
prolly the same for other religions too
by the way, you can never be to younge or old to be religious, but i think it's better to start younge.
and Terry W is wrong (hate to say it) because your whole life and ways SHOULD be pleasing to God (or who ever you believe in in your religion).

Never too young. The thing is, you should continue to have an open mind and be learning.
But do people think you should have a teen pregnancy, go through drug rehab, and start treatment for AIDS, and then "get religion"? Is that the pattern?

13's not too young. And being in a relationship with a guy doesn't make you less religious.

Well, John the Baptist was baptized in the Holy Spirit while he was still in the womb, and Mary & Joseph found Jesus teaching in the Temple at 12 years old. Paul said in 1 Timothy 4:12:
"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers - in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
If you are gay/lesbian, don't let your religion make you ashamed. There is nothing in the Bible that condemns being gay, but you will find many religious people who will twist biblical words to support their bigotry. It isn't the Bible that is wrong, it is the bigots.

Nah, I'd be a tad worried about your social development, but so long as you have friends and you're just wholesome there's no harm.
But it sounds more like you're more deeply faithful than religious per se. Chruch requires prayer on Sundays, faith requires a closer relationship to God everyday I think.

Yes - much too young
If you are too young to make up your mind about a life long partner or who should be in government or what substances are bad for you then you are too young to decide on what is the truth about the world.
The need is to explore and discover
