Greatest Republican quality - Loyalty! Worst Republican quality?

I say loyalty! It is a double edge sword. They would defend the worst person in the world out of loyalty. Dems split on vote - Reps are allways 99% with the program.

Take the recent "surge" it is full of crap! Everyone knows that we need 300-400 k troops to pacify a country size of Iraq. WE do not have them and we did not have them!!! These 20k (or actual number 28? Bush lied again) will do nothing, but cons still defend it like a GREAT solution out of loyalty!

You should realize that US is not united , in fact it is probably at the most divided time in history. Bitterly divided! so all this united we stand is BS and has no merits or purpose.

Loyalty with a political party has to have it limits. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Know when to "do the right thing".

100% loyalty toward your immediate association is for baseball games. If your team does the wrong thing...know it and hold your ground.

Loyalty to what, themelves and the rich only? That's all their really loyal to. Greastest Quality? Get real ,they have none! Worst Quality? There are way more then I can count. How about not caring about those in THIS country who are poor. Have you seen the still intact devestation of New Orleans? It looks like a 3rd world country and it's a disgusting shame that this administration can't do anything but ignore the situation and hope that the poor people who lost everything will just forive and forget. NOT A CHANCE!!!!!! The list can go on and on & on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good answer Tango- the health care in this country is at an all time high-highest # of uninsured. A child of 12 near the DC area just died from needing a tooth pulled (it got infected) but he said nothing to his mom because his brother had some health issues too and being without insurance he knew (THOUGHT) that he'd be ok with just some tooth pain. This is the US of A guys and a child should not have to worry/die because his family doesn't have health care. By the way even if they did have some coverage there is a lot of problems with dental care being covered.

The surge was announced by the republican president to the world, so the insurgents could prepare for it. Announced by the same president that poo's poo's the democrat pull out announcement?

The numbers game with the troop levels. The same game that says our economy is booming, yet we somehow forgot to mention we have almost 50, yes FIFTY million Americans without medical coverage, those with insurance need a lawyer to make them pay the coverage you pay for, and millions of Americans went from full time jobs with benefits to less than 40 hours, benefits are now sold seperately... Medicaid costs thru the roof and out of YOUR pocket, so the corp's can reap the profits.

The republican party is staying loyal, yes in deed. Loyal and all going down the tube together.

Unfortunately our great nation and our children will pick up the largest tab in our history.

I agree with the worst republican quality being loyalty. Let's face it, it's true, they seem to go along with everything the republican party says, as if out of habit, without using the faintest amount of logic. I've seen people who really do appear to think that republican politicians are angels and democrat politicians are demons, and that the political struggle between the two is essentially God vs Satan, Heaven vs Hell. W. T. F. How about we all sit down and actually THINK about what makes sense and what doesn't and THEN choose our political party, rather than the other way around? I wouldn't have so much of a problem with the republicans if they had at least come to their conclusions properly, but as it is it's just insane.

However, I disagree with the greatest republican quality being loyalty. There really isn't very much good about loyalty at all. We're all individuals, and I think it's time we started making our decisions that way. This is one of the problems not just republicans but everybody else too seems to have: They see the government as a supreme overlord independent of society. That's NOT TRUE. The purpose of a government is to serve the society by making its collective decisions for it, it's basically division of labor but with decisions. And if they're not making the right decisions, that is NOT something we can tolerate just because they're 'the government'. We must always, always think carefully about what the governmnt is doing, or else we'll just end up with George Orwell's 1984.

Dude, my dogs is unquestionably a liberal. He lays round all day. He in simple terms receives as a lot as devour, schit or play. He completely relies upon on some different person to furnish him food, preserve and treatment. and each and each and every element he says makes fairly no experience to a rational individual.

Perhaps willful ignorance - they downgrade and denigrate facts and science when inconvenient.

Willingness to sacrifice important principles of our society to "win".

Willingness to continue failed policies and defend them vigorously just to avoid admitting they are/were wrong.

It is 100% loyalty to our country, not the party. We have to band together to protect the country from all the Flip Floppers and America Haters out there. Conservatives would see America succeed in ALL her endeavors, where the Liberal mind set would like to see success only if there is no risk involved. Introduce risk, and it is CUT AND RUN, no matter what the situation. I'm not just talking about the military, but in every aspect of life and politics.
