I'm prayin for you Lioncourt. Without judgement, my friend. You must have gotten to your wits end today or last night, dear heart. Hang in there! You are not alone...

Yeah... my Mom is only 5 hours away and my brothers and sisters will move immediately to meet me 1/2 way or all the way if I ever asked. Thank goodness for family.

There are good days and bad days and if you ever need to separate (God forbid) do so with the knowledge that there is no finality unless you and him deem it so. Peacelove.

An interesting question, since, as you've said, abuse can be very gradual, and sometimes can happen so slowly that the victim never realizes the need for a "plan b.

I was in an abusive relationship a few years ago, and yes you have to disassociate yourself to the situation. I cant explain what my special place was, I just tuned out what was happening to me. Towards the end it got worse, because I literally wanted to remove this man from earth. its a hard thing to deal with, but you cant deal with it forever. (I am going to answer your other question with the outcome of the relationship)

What? No--I do not "plan" for abuse. I know that it is good to be prepared, but geez--that is taking it a little overboard.
