I have Saab 9000CD, about 10 years old, ABS light is on intermittently while driving. The car was in maintenance recently and no fault was found then.

It appears you may have a faulty sensor or something is not working properly. Just because they did find a problem before doesn't mean one hasn't happened since the last service. Reallt though since this is the way your vehicle stops and Saabs are not cheap I would get it into a service centre ASAP and one that works on exotic imports or specializes in these kind of vehicles it may cost a little more but having a certified specialist for a Saab will probably save you money in the long run.

Good Luck
P.S. never take chances with your braking system it's what
can be the difference of life or death. Or even a minor fender bender and higher insurance rates.

ABS Antilock Braking equipment: Brakes are portion of the MOT so any fault with them finally leads to a fail. it would desire to be something so straight forward as airborne dirt and dirt at the back of the sensor or it fairly is an entire equipment failure in basic terms a knowledgeable brake expert can inform you.

Your ASB light is on because there is something wrong with your anti-lock-brake system or just a bad sensor.... They can be a pain....but to get it off. you must take it in to a dealership or good repair man and find out the reason
