Jellyfish "give birth" to several dozen offspring at any one time. This high number ensures the survival of at leat a few as there is no parental care of the offspring by the jellyfish. Once they have been released they are on their own. They do go through 2 phases in their lifecycle with the first stage being a polyp not a small jellyfish.

Ask they their religion and political orientation.... The Muslim jellyfish would have an harem, and millions of babies.. If they are Chinese jellyfish, the government decides how many babies... usually only one!

It depends on the jelly fish. In the wild jelly fish have a bout 50 little ones and only 10 survive the rough ocean. Some in less dangered areas have a bout 50 too, but about 30 live. They also don't spawn as much.

Only about 7, and then they run out of names for them. The jellyfish alphabet is pretty simple, after all... :-)

It is illegal to have a jellyfish living in a pet cage unless you have a degree. Thanks.

As long as they can support them financially ,I don't see a reason why they can't have as many as they want.
