I love football, and did go through some withdrawl right after the Super Bowl. But unlike you, I love baseball as well, so the summer will fly by for me. It will be pre-season football time before I know it.

Hey, sassyk! I'm a 53 year old woman who is totally relieved to see the start of the baseball season...I've waited 6 whole months for this! LOL.
I married a college football player and so we watch a lot of football, too, in season. I have perfected my "that's nice, dear" commentary and enjoy sitting in front of the tv with my crocheting whenever there's a game on. But baseball is lifegiving. So turns the world. Namaste. ;-)

NO, I'm not a 63 year old woman, but I am going through football withdrawls. I would rather drink Geritol by the gallon and piss in my depends than watch baseball. My girlfriend loves baseball, however, she is 64 years old. Give it time....

Ditto on the withdrawls.....tie me off and shot me with herion. I'm coaching 10-13 year olds in spring football in an attempt to give back and feed my addiction at the same time. Hopefully the draft on the 28th will help all of us crack children!!!

Not at all. Lots of issues that come with age difference, like maturity level, or who wants to have kids, or still can have kids, or whatever, are no longer an issue here. Women outlive men most of the time anyway, so if you want her to have someone to love her and care for her when she's at the end of her life, then this guy sounds great!

Arena football isn't bad, it's actually kinda fun to watch some offense being a Bears fan myself. Try watching it, plus the draft is coming up soon, and that's always interesting

Try watching the Arena League Football games. They're not as good as the NFL or college football, but it's still football.

I totally agree! Football season is entirely too short...or else every other sport is too long. How long has NBA been going on? It seems like it's been on since the beginning of time!!!
