Let's say you saw a girl with dark eyeliner/ thick smoky eyes, but dressed not in a "goth" or "emo" etc way . What would be the first think that comes to your mind? A HOOKER? haha thats what came to mine

i think it usually looks good if applied skillfully, not just slapped on...if everything is blended nicely, it can be a great look, especially when u want a more dramatic effect, like for an evening out, etc...

That she was going out some where. The smokey dark eye frist came from the 1920's-30's when women first felt liberated. I think a smokey eye with a red lips is very sexy on the right face. It is a night time look though I would advise wearing it durring the day its just too much.

Actually smokey eyes, are great for an evening out. And no I would not think she is a hooker, if someone can do smokey eyes than they know what they are doing, its not as easy as it looks to get the right look. And you dont need black to get the smokey affect you can do it with grey, brown, green, and even blue. But again you have to know what you are doing.

Just like men's "Speedo" bathers, only ever acceptable in the right situation, and on the right body, lol.
Two scenarios I think are acceptable:
If you are heading out all dressed to an event with low lighting.
Or
You are performing on a stage or catwalk.
Anywhere else, and you'll look like a desperate try-hard !!!
Heavy make-up in normal to high lighting is very unflattering to any skin-type.

I would think they were just your normal teen. I wear dark eyeliner and sometimes have on smokey colored eye shadow. it is a fashon trend that many teens are following. Avril Lavigne was someone who really started bringing that style into prospective. Sometimes less is more.

No it's just you re preference. I think the thick smokey eye is geared more towards a night time evening look.

i hate people who judge a person based on their clothes and make up. one can use lots of makeup and open dresses just because she likes but still be a good girl and it doesnt mean if a girl wears no make-up and open dresses is a virgin. i know many sluts and hookers with no makeup!! i am married and i wear short and open clothes and i use lots of make-up. i just do these things because i love them and since my husband knows that i dont do it to get customers and he trusts me he doesnt mind.
