In my experience, sensuality and odors can warm us up. But love usually comes first in most of us and then we love the smell associated with our love object. Case in Point: When my husband had to fly to a meeting one time I slept with one of his shirts. It worked!! Even On ME!! Mrs. Know-it-All Herself!!

I think smell can be part of a package. Lets say you consider me an average looking male, then perhaps smell could be the thing that tips the scale in my favor verses a another male who looks average but his smell is neutral.

The sense of smell brings up many emotions and can have a lot to do with developing memories. What was that movie about about blind veteran, "The Scent of a Woman." I guess it can go both ways. But it is part of our evolutionary history.
