AGP and PCI are different bus types in your computer. The other is PCI express (newer, more better).

AGP = Advanced Graphics Port.

The bus is what they call the connection on your computer that you put add-on cards into. Most newer (circa 2003) PCs would have an AGP slot. You would get an AGP video card to plug into it. Nvidia among others sell them.

It doesn't mean anything to your display. It's the interface between your display and the CPU. The better/faster your video card is the better your display will work, which would only matter if your playing really graphics intensive games.

AGP is Advance Graphics Port ,where is video card is inserted. This is much slower than PCI. AGP video card mostly uses the RAM for functioning. But PCI card uses its own memory

AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) has direct memory access. Can be much faster that going through the "bus" like PCI requires.
